white alley divides

white alley divides
mannequins from revelations
of used books and pizza

An alley with a long white wall bisects the block between the town square and the county courthouse in Fairfield, Iowa. On the other side, a large used bookstore with a wood-fired pizza oven, filled with consumers of food for the soul, with a sign on the door: OPEN.
